Sharona on country

Sharona is depicted in the ochre and red colours of her country with an intimate scale and intense gaze. Watercolor paint flows over and within the varied texture of the plaster. The importance of touch in helping us make sense of the world is emphasised through the depiction of hands connecting to the face.
